Your safety and wellbeing is our concern.

Peabody takes seriously its duty and responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of the people and communities it serves.

Everybody has the right to be safe no matter who they are or what their circumstances. Abuse and neglect can have devastating effects on individuals, families and wider society, and with you, we want to take reasonable steps to ensure our residents and others using our services, do not, as a result, come to harm.

Our commitment to Safeguarding children and adults at risk is reflected in our policies and in having our very own Safeguarding Lead Officer and Safeguarding Champions, whose job is to support staff to support you.

If you believe that you or someone you know is at immediate risk, you should in the first instance contact the emergency services; Police, Ambulance or Fire Service.

If you or someone you know is suffering or is likely to suffer serious harm, you should contact your local Adult and/or Children Social Care Service and tell them who it is and what it is that you’re worried about.

However, if you would find it easier to talk to a Peabody member of staff about any concerns you have about a child or adult at risk, you can call us on 0800 022 4040 (free from landlines) or 020 7021 4444. Lines open: 8am–8pm, Monday to Friday

Please note: outside these hours, you can call both numbers above to access our emergency 24-hour service.

Ex-Family Mosaic residents can contact their Customer Care Line on 0300 123 3456
