Our Care and Support team has won a floating support contract covering the whole of Essex.

Essex County Council has recognised that challenges – such as welfare reforms and the increasing cost of privately rented housing – are creating an environment where housing-related support services are crucial. They have now commissioned Peabody to deliver a floating service across Essex.

The services’ main remit is to help prevent homelessness. It will offer customers support in sustaining their tenancies: from providing information, advice and guidance to longer-term support.

The new contract will start at the beginning of April 2019 and run for seven years, supporting an average of 18,000 customers each year.
