About the service

The service covers Braintree and the surrounding area and can provide a range of different support including things like meal preparation, shopping, support with housework, personal care and accessing the local community.

We provide support to vulnerable adults who may have difficulty accessing the community either due to mobility issues, low confidence or self-esteem or just because they could be open to abuse without our support.

Some of our customers live at home with their parent/parents so the support we provide also provides them respite or so that they can go to work.

We can provide one hour a week up to 24hours a day seven days a week.

Our dedicated staff team of 9 support workers provide a person centered service which is tailored to individual customer’s needs. All our staff are fully trained and subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check before being employed by our service.

The service lasts for as long as is needed, unless a customer moves or there is a significant change to their health needs.

Every customer has a support plan that reflects their support needs and aspirations. Support workers regularly review these plans with you to ensure that they still reflect your needs.

We accept referrals from social services, health authority, individuals with personal budgets or private funding.
