The Essex Homecare service offers care and support to adults with a range of different needs, living in their own homes in Thurrock, Laindon, Basildon, Billericay, Benfleet and Rayleigh in Essex.

About the service
We offer traditional home care, provided in your home, as well as community-based care and support, for individuals who may wish to participate in activities outside of their home and require support to do so.
Your care package will be tailored to your own unique requirements and linked to needs identified by an Adult Social Care Assessment where appropriate.
Our service covers the Hastings and Rother area and is for adults over 18 who may:
- Be elderly or frail
- Have a physical disability
- Have a sensory impairment
- Have a memory impairment
- Have dementia
- Have learning disabilities
- Have mental health needs
- Have had an acute medical illness or accident
We provide a care and support service which can support you with things like:
- Washing
- Bathing
- Using the toilet
- Dressing
- Taking your medication
- Shopping
- Laundry
- Meal preparation
- Taking you out
- Helping you return from hospital
The service is available from 7am to 10pm, seven days a week, 365 days a year and can offer you support starting from one hour a week up to 24 hour, round the clock support. This can also include sleep-in and waking night service if required.
Referrals
To make a referral, please contact the Care Admin Team who will take you details and refer you to the appropriate Deputy Operational Manager and Team Manager for that area. Social Services referrals can also be made through Service Placement Team at Essex County Council.
