Meet Nick and Paul, the two stars of a new Heart FM radio campaign in Essex.

Nick Burrows, a support worker from Lloyd House and Paul Brown, a customer from the Essex Outreach Service, have both lent their voices to the new adverts hoping to spread the word about our services in the county.

The adverts, which will be broadcast in the Southend and Colchester areas, aim to promote Peabody in Essex, explain the move from Family Mosaic and appeal to new customers and job hunters.

One of the 30 second ads features Nick who has worked for Peabody for the last four years supporting people with learning difficulties to live as independently as possible. He really loves his job and wanted to spread the word about the Real Living Wage and the other benefits available to care and support staff.

The other advert features Paul Brown who has been getting support from the Essex Outreach service in Basildon for about 9 months. He is a great advocate of the service, and the organisation, and was more than happy to lend his voice for the occasion.

After heading to the Heart FM offices in Chelmsford, each took their turn in the recording booth with the engineer to record their part to be added into the full adverts later. Afterwards they were introduced to the Heart Radio Essex breakfast presenter Su Harrison  and were able to have a look around the studio.

All in all it was a great experience for Nick and Paul so if you live in Essex, tune in to hear the adverts over the next few months.
