About the service

The scheme consists of a total of 33 self-contained, one bedroom and studio flats with a lift, communal lounge, laundry, guest room and a garden. Eight of the flats are suitable for you if you have extra care needs, specifically Korsakoff Syndrome or brain injuries.

We offer a housing related support service which can include: maintaining tenancies, advice on paying bills, setting up direct debits, apply for other benefits, linking in with healthcare and local community groups.

Every customer has a support plan that reflects their support needs and aspirations. Support workers regularly review these plans with you to make sure that they still reflect your needs.

Care is provided at the scheme by the Hackney local authority. The care is tailored to your needs and is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

We also offer a specialist social inclusion coordinator who regularly visits our London sheltered housing schemes to help arrange communal activities such as coffee morning and special events. This offers you the opportunity to keep active and socialise with other customers in the scheme.

Family Mosaic support staff are available Monday to Friday 7.30am – 4.00pm. Outside these hours there is an emergency pull cord system in each flat in case of an emergency

Referrals are received exclusively through the London Borough of Hackney via the Hackney Sheltered Housing Register.
