About the service

The scheme offers specialist support and accommodation for ten people in two-bedroom shared flats. Each flat has a shared bathroom kitchen and lounge area. The scheme also has an on-site office communal kitchen, lounge, laundry and patio area.

Customers are supported with their mental health recovery  as well as their tenancy and independent living skills.  Staff have good links with the local Community Mental health Team and substance misuse services.

During their stay customers are supported to develop their own goals for moving on. Individual support plans are created to reflect each customers’ needs and aspirations and during their last six months at the scheme, customers meet with staff at ‘move on’ meetings to begin referrals and applications to more independent housing.

Following their move on from the scheme, customers are offered an additional six months support to help them settle in to lower level supported housing or independent accommodation.

Staff are on-site between 8.00am and 10.00pm seven days a week with on-site security between 10.00pm and 8.00am.
