St. Peters House is a sheltered housing scheme for people aged 55 and older, situated in a quiet residential neighbourhood in the Stamford Hill area of Hackney.
The scheme consists of 39 flats, a mixture of one and two beds, arranged around extensive communal areas and with access to a fantastic range of features for older residents.
The service boasts such facilities as a shared dining room and kitchen, library, therapy salon and dementia-friendly garden, as well as a laundry and assisted bathroom.
The building is secured with a comprehensive electronic access system and has room for storage of mobility scooters.
The building is managed by a Scheme Coordinator, who is based at the site full-time, Monday to Friday each week. The Scheme Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of building maintenance, and is on hand to provide assistance to residents as required, so as to ensure the building is safe and secure for all.
Referrals come via London Borough of Hackney Housing Allocations team and London Borough of Hackney Adult Social Care. We cannot accept direct applications, however we welcome enquiries and can provide information and advice on how to access the service.
