About the service

We provide this service to two extra care schemes in West Sussex. We offer 24-hour support, including waking night and sleep-ins, to older people who may have additional complex needs such as learning disabilities, dementia and physical disabilities.

We can support you with tasks like:

  • personal care (washing and bathing)
  • shopping
  • cooking
  • meal preparation
  • medication
  • cleaning
  • emotional
  • activities to get involved with

The service is available from 7am to 10pm, 365 days a year, depending on your individual support needs.

Referrals for our service come from the County Council following a nomination process with the local housing associations. Representatives from housing, the local council and care providers sit on a panel where customer referrals are assessed for appropriate support within one of our six services.

We also accept referrals from private customers who are living within our services that then develop care support needs.
